Taz-Mania!

Yes folks, that beloved early '90s favorite, Taz-Mania, is back! Coming May 14th, "Taz-Mania: Taz on the Loose" will be available to own on DVD from Warner Home Video! I was excited to get this one in my inbox. It came on right around the same time as Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Tom and Jerry Kids (and it has a lot of the same voice actors!).

The Pokémon Formula

If you've read this blog for a while, or if you know me in person and have talked to me for any length of time, you know that I find it fascinating that there is a whole genre dedicated to magical animals being thrown at each other for the amusement/protection/honor of their handlers. I have officially dubbed this The Pokémon Formula. For me, I find it hard to believe there is such a thing, but I am thoroughly interested in the phenomenon none the less. Tom and Jerry Kids Show has returned!

Did you grow up watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, laying on the carpet in front of your television with your bowl full of brightly colored marshmallow sugar cereal? Well then you probably remember Tom and Jerry Kids Show. Tom and Jerry (the famous--or infamous?--cartoon cat and mouse duo) are re-imagined as stubby little kids, and they have adventures all over time and space. Time to reignite that nostalgia and pick up a copy of Tom and Jerry Kids Season 1 on DVD next Tuesday!

Princess Twilight Sparkle on DVD: Video Clips!

Thanks to my friends at Shout! Factory, here is a sneak peek of some of the episodes on the Princess Twilight Sparkle DVD, coming out on April 30th! The first is from the episode "Magical Mystery Cure", the second is from "MMMystery of The Friendship Express".

That's right Bronies, a new My Little Pony DVD is hitting the streets at the end of the month. It's the first to include the Twilight Sparkle Alicorn episode as well. It features five episodes of the show as well as a cute little sing-a-long bonus feature (although, if you're anything like me, you've seen "Magical Mystery Cure" at least a dozen times by now and you already know all the songs by heart. Ahem.)

Remember when "googling" as a verb sounded dirty?

Yes, I was bored so I "googled" myself (and yes, Google, I really used YOUR search engine, so I'm using the verbiage properly!). I can assure you, most of the images that come up under my name are NOT me (although it seems to index my YouTube and Twitter accounts pretty well). Interestingly, I found a couple other sites had picked up my interview with Daniel Ingram and were giving me some free press... so I thought I'd be nice and return the favor!
